Partner Paul Bullman recently testified in favor of protecting worker safety and religious liberties to the Missouri House of Representatives. Corporate lobbyists are pushing legislation that would eliminate personal responsibility for sex predators who harass girls at work. Mr. Bullman testified that personal responsibility is a Missouri value and everyone, especially sex predators, must be personally responsible for their own conduct. Corporate lobbyists are also pushing legislation that would eliminate religious rights – including the current right under state law to take off work on the Sabbath to go to church. Mr. Bullman testified that religious liberties are a Missouri value and everyone should have the right to reasonable accommodations for their sincerely held religious practices.
